Because they live here and they hold on here. Native and Florida-adapted species handle the sandy soil, the salt-influenced air near the coast, and, planted and pruned correctly, they stand up to Gulf wind far better than fragile exotics. We will recommend species suited to your exact site.
Do you transplant trees?
Yes. When a healthy tree is simply in the wrong place, transplanting can save it. Success depends on species, size, season, and preparation, an assessment tells you honestly whether your tree is a good candidate before anyone digs.
